Technology

Technology can be the combination of processes, techniques, skills, methods used in production of goods and services or to fulfill our objectives of day to day life. Various types of Computers and internet can be the best examples of technology used in our day to day life. Technology helps to make our lives easier. One of the most important question why technology has to be advanced again and again with coming days? The answer for this is that our necessity is the mother of new inventions in technology.

Does it suppresses our CREATIVITY?

Comment us what technology does to your creativity in comment section below?
But however for me it does not suppresses my creativity. Creativity comes from observing the world, interpreting it, and bringing us new ideas and concepts. Now here technology helps me to express my thoughts, ideas and concepts efficiently and effectively because the more the technology is advanced the more better you can represent your thinking.
Now each one has its own way of thinking. Just try to improve your creativity (the way you see the world) the advancement in technology will automatically expresses your creativeness.

Are Humans using technology or technology using humans?

Its a simple question to answer on, lets come back in time when everything was done by man itself, humans had no choice as they their mind were not that developed at that time, but from the very beginning the man wanted to make every task to be done easily and therefore he started modifying raw materials to make objects for his use, like simple hunting knifes made of stone, wood, and jute and another biggest example was the discovery of wheel. At that time, the humans were using technology but the greatest discovery of humans at present is the  technology of connectivity i.e, the internet and another is AI and quantum computing. Today also the humans are trying to make their days to day life activities to be done automatically without their involvement. The humans today are so tangled with technology that they can't live for a second without it.
They are making their tasks easier but leading to unhealthy life conditions as they had became so lazy. The over use of internet, like in social media sites is just a waste of time, will that investment of their time in social media sites be fruitful. Hence we can say that today technology is using humans to develop itself and could lead to the extinction of human race on earth. You yourself know the answer of it. Don't waste your time on facebook, or instagram instead use quora and other same of type sites to read topics that can boost your knowledge, to develop yourself. Try to give answers of questions that can help you a lot.

Does it affect us NEGATIVELY ?

Being overly connected can cause psychological issues such as distraction, narcissism, expectation of instant gratification, and even depression. Beside affecting users' mental health, use of technology can also have negative repercussions on physical health causing vision problems, hearing loss, and neck strain.
The limited use to technology can do no harm to you.
Technology affects people today in so many ways, both positive and negative ways. Agricultural technology allows farmers to produce more food. Medical technology gives us longer, healthier lives. Technology such as the internet and telephones helps us stay in touch with people we love.

Following are the advantages of Technology for modern life:

1. Ease Of Access To Information. The World Wide Web,            abbreviated as www has made the world a social village.
2. Ease of mobility.
3. Saves time.
4. Cost effective.
5. Makes the tasks easier.
6. Innovation in many fields.
7. Better learning techniques.
8. Helps in communication.
9. Transfer of money.
10. Our food is grown using technology.
11. you can travel around the world with technology.
12. Technology plays a vital role in transportation or you can say in tour and tourism.
13. use technology to refresh your mind by listening to music and watching the movies.

Following are the Disadvantages of Technology for modern life:

1. Technology has great impact on bad minds, all the criminals are using various Hi-tech devices and softwares for their criminal activities.
2. Every one has one or other device to complete their work with and as a result their work easily gets completed and makes the user lazy and lazy.
3. Everyone is so surrounded by technology that they have no time for their family members.
4. Children spent most of their time in playing games instead of studying and waste their golden time.
5. Each new tech comes with new bugs and flaws, as a result these bugs can be used in criminal activities.

Can we live without technology?

Yes, for most of the people technology is not something to which we give a second thought to, but some people literally cant't live without it. And for them the existence of technology is the difference between silence and laughter, loneliness and interaction, and even the difference between the life and death.

Lets talk about TECHNOLOGICAL DEPENDENCE.

Technological dependence could be considered the opposite of self-reliance. One major way to find the technological dependence of a particular company is that when a country imports a minor object from a single country, it means that it have a high technological dependence.

Ways to make yourself Less dependent on Technology.

It clearly doesn't mean that you totally throw away all your smartphones, smart TVs, and other major Technical house appliances. I gonna discuss the ways with you to make yourself less dependent:

1. Take part in No-Tech weekends.
2. Use more and more pen, paper and pencils.
3. Avoid making useless phone calls after every second.
4. Don't sleep with your smartphone lying near you on your bed.
5. Spend a lot of time with your family playing outdoor games like      cricket, badminton, etc.
6. Going on long Walks can be the most effective way.
7. Explore more and more ancient ways of cooking foods and do follow them on your No-Tech weekend.
8. Read more and more books.

Republic Day

Republic Day

Republic Day  honours the date on which the Constitution came into effect on 26 January 1950 replacing the Government Of India  Act (1935) as the governing document of India.

India got independence from British rule on 15 August 1947.

India obtained its independence on 15 August 1947 as a constitutional monarchy with George VI as head of state and the Earl Mountbatten as governor-general. The country yet did not had its own permanent constitution, instead its laws were based on modified colonial Government of India Act 1935.

How Permanent Constitution was achieved.

The great personality who framed the Indian constitution was Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar leading the group of seven member drafting committee. The constitution was published in January 1948 and all Indians were given a time period of 8 months to review it.
After many deliberations and some modifications, the 308 members of the Assembly signed two hand-written copies of the document on 24 January 1950. Two days later which was on 26 January 1950, it came into effect throughout the country. On that day Dr. Rajendra Prasad's signed as President of the Indian Union. The Constituent Assembly became the Parliament of India under the transitional provisions of the new Constitution. This date is celebrated in India as the Republic Day.

Once again "The constitution was adopted by Indian assembly on 26 January 1949 and came into effect on 26 January 1950, with democratic government system". "Democratic government is the government of the people, by the people and for the people", said by famous personality Abraham Lincoln.

26 January was chosen as the republic day because on this day in 1929 when the deceleration of Indian constitution was proclaimed by Indian National Congress to oppose the rule of  British Government.

India now has its own set of rules and regulations written in a thick book called itself "The constitution of India" or "Bhatiya Samvidaan". The Indian constitution is the largest constitution in India having 395 articles, 22 parts and 12 schedules.

The main Republic day celebrations were held in the national capital NEW DELHI at RAJPATH.

Various parades are organised at Rajpath representing a tribute to the Indian diversity and cultural heritage.
India is the only country who accepts all religions, having many cultural heritages.

The beating retreat ceremony is held officially after the end of all festivities of the day. It is formed by the band of three wings of military. The president of India is honoured as the chief guest of     all republic day festivities.

On the eve of Republic Day, the President of India distributes Padma Awards to the civilians of India every year. These are the second highest civilian awards in India after Bharat Ratna. These awards are given in three categories, viz. Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri, in decreasing order of importance.

NanoTechnolgy

Nano means something very small, having a diameter of about 10-9m. Any technology that can manufacture, design, and talks about synthesis of the devices of such small scale is referred to as nanotechnology, or we can say and the study of the relationship between the material properties and material dimensions of nano scale is known as nanotechnologyNanotechnology encompasses the understanding of the fundamental physics, chemistry, biology and technology of nano meter-scale objects.

In order to understand the unusual world of nanotechnology, we need to get an idea of the units of measure involved. A centimeter is one-hundredth of a meter, a millimeter is one-thousandth of a meter, and a micrometer is one-millionth of a meter, but all of these are still huge compared to the nanoscale. A nanometer (nm) is one-billionth of a meter, smaller than the wavelength of visible light and a hundred-thousandth the width of a human hair. This is what you can't imagine so easily.

One of the exciting and challenging aspects of the nanotechnology is the role that quantum mechanics plays in it. The rules of quantum mechanics are very different from classical physics, which means that the behavior of substances at the nanoscale can sometimes contradict common sense by behaving erratically. Scientists are experimenting with substances at the nanoscale to learn about their properties. Engineers are trying to use nano-size wires to create smaller, more powerful microprocessors. Doctors are searching for ways to use nano particles in medical applications.

The most immediate challenge in nanotechnology is that we need to learn more about materials and their properties at the nanoscale. Universities and corporations across the world are rigorously studying how atoms fit together to form larger structures. We're still learning about how quantum mechanics impact substances at the nanoscale. Because elements at the nanoscale behave differently than they do in their bulk form, there's a concern that some nanoparticles could be toxic. Some doctors worry that the nanoparticles are so small, that they could easily cross the blood-brain barrier, a membrane that protects the brain from harmful chemicals in the bloodstream.
There are some hefty social concerns about nanotechnology too. Nanotechnology may also allow us to create more powerful weapons, both lethal and non-lethal. Some organizations are concerned that we'll only get around to examining the ethical implications of nanotechnology in weaponry after these devices are built. They urge scientists and politicians to examine carefully all the possibilities of nanotechnology before designing increasingly powerful weapons.

Nano Devices.

The devices of very small diameter of about 10-9m  are classified as nano devices. Nanotechnology based nano devices such as nano robots, watches, displays have been constructed to perform tests and operations inside the human body, at the places where the machines can't reach, and so on various applications.

Nano devices classification

  • Based on dimensions.
  • Based on materials.

Bases on dimensions.

1-D  -   Quantum dots.
2-D  -   Carbon nano tubes and nano wires.
3-D  -    Nano film
4-D  -    Grains.

Based on Materials.

Carbon based materials - Carbon nano tubes and nano wires.
Metal based materials -  MnO, SnO2  , TiO2.
Dendrimers.

Applications of Nanotechnology.

  1. The development of super computers is a result of nanotechnology , because in the formation of connectors used in super computers we have used nano wires instead of physical connectors.
  2. Bacteria tumor cells of gold particles have been developed to destroy most harmful component of cancer cells. It tends to destroy the internal component of cancer without causing any side effect.
  3. Nanotechnology based clothes have been developed which can absorb the human sweat.
  4. TiO2 is mixed with paints is an example of nanotechnology. As a result the lifetime, strength and shine of the paint is increased.
  5. Nanotechnology based machines such as robots, wrist watches have been developed which can predict the diseases in human body in early stages.
  6. various nano devices have been used for the development of opto-electronic devices.
  7. Carbon nano tubes are used for the development of bullet proof jackets.A carbon nanotube is a nano-size cylinder of carbon atoms. Imagine a sheet of carbon atoms, which would look like a sheet of hexagons. If you roll that sheet into a tube, you'd have a carbon nanotube. Carbon nanotube properties depend on how you roll the sheet.
  8. Carbon nanotubes can also be effective semiconductors with the right arrangement of atoms. Scientists are still working on finding ways to make carbon nanotubes a realistic option for transistors in microprocessors and other electronics.
  9. Many sunscreens contain nanoparticles of zinc oxide or titanium oxide. Older sunscreen formulas use larger particles, which is what gives most sunscreens their whitish color. Smaller particles are less visible, meaning that when you rub the sunscreen into your skin, it doesn't give you a whitish tinge.
  10. Self-cleaning glass - A company called Pilkington offers a product they call Activ Glass, which uses nanoparticles to make the glass photocatalytic and hydrophilic. The photocatalytic effect means that when UV radiation from light hits the glass, nanoparticles become energized and begin to break down and loosen organic molecules on the glass (in other words, dirt). Hydrophilic means that when water makes contact with the glass, it spreads across the glass evenly, which helps wash the glass clean.
  11. Engineers discovered that adding aluminum silicate nanoparticles to scratch-resistant polymer coatings made the coatings more effective, increasing resistance to chipping and scratching. Scratch-resistant coatings are common on everything from cars to eyeglass lenses.
  12. Scientist Robert Burrell created a process to manufacture antibacterial bandages using nanoparticles of silver.
  13. Nanotechnology may have its biggest impact on the medical industry. Patients will drink fluids containing nanorobots programmed to attack and reconstruct the molecular structure of cancer cells and viruses.
  14. Nanotechnology has the potential to have a positive effect on the environment. For instance, scientists could program airborne nanorobots to rebuild the thinning ozone layer. Nanorobots could remove contaminants from water sources and clean up oil spills.
